Changing Your Screen Resolution
We've detected that your computer is using an obsolete display resolution. While we've gone to great lengths to ensure that the pages on Elks.org look and function largely the same on any resolution, increasing your resolution to at least 1024x768 pixels will enhance your experience on our site and other sites which may not be so considerate to lower resolutions.
Here's how to do it on Windows and Mac OS X:
Windows 95-XP
- Right-click on the desktop and choose Properties from the popup menu.

- Under Screen Resolution, move the slider to the right until it reads at least 1024x768.

- Click OK and accept the confirmation dialog.
- Reload the Elks.org site.
Mac OS X
- Open your Applications folder (Macintosh HD > Applications) and double-click on the System Preferences application to open it.

- In the System Preferences box, click once on Displays.

- Set the display resolution to at least 1024x768 and close the window. The change will take effect immediately and you can reload the Elks.org site.
